Oromo people have been deprived of vast landholdings and access to life-sustaining recources,and they have suffered historical forces that have suppressed their political and cultural institutions.As a result,indiginous oromos have been cripped economically and socially,their cohesiveness as communities has been damaged or threatened  and their integrity of their culture has been undermined. In all reign of Abyssinian  rullers,the oromo populations are almost invariably on rung of the socioeconomic  and cultural ladder.are on the margins of power!!!!!!!
