Norway: Police stopped Woyane meeting in Tasta Bydelshus

To All Oromo Community,
The Oromo Community Organization (OCO) of the Washington D.C Metro Area has planned to host a dinner party and workshop on Saturday April 20, 2013 at 6:00 PM at the Oromo House (OCO).
The Main purpose of the dinner party is to raise funds that will help cover the monthly mortgage payment of the Oromo House .The dinner party is also intended to encourage fellow Oromos come together and discuss issues of common concern while enjoying our delicious traditional cuisine and drinks.
In addition, guests from the D.C Government’s office of African Affairs( OAA) will be addressing the audience on “Mental Health” topic as part of a series of workshops (TEAM-Think, Eat, Act and Move) that OAA is currently undertaking in collaboration with various D.C based community and faith based organizations.
Entrance tickets are available with OCO Board, Executive, and House Committee members. Tickets will also be available at the gate. The prices for the tickets are: $50.00 for couples, and $30.00 for single.
